Tanglin Flea / Bazaar
it is helded on the first sat and third sat of the month.
for November, December, January it is held more than twice a month.
So, how to register for the flea?
This flea stalls are thru balloting.
Here are the steps:
1. on the last day of the month-2 of the month you want to rent the stall, you need to call tanglin mall customer service to ballot.
eg you want to rent for November 2011. you need to call in on September 30 to ask when is the next ballot days. I called up on September 30 and they say it would be on 10-11 October, before 8pm. yes is on a Monday and Tuesday.
2. Next, you have to personally visit the customer service counter at Tanglin Mall to ballot for the flea.
eg on october 10, you go to the counter and fill up the form. you need ur NRIC with you. If I'm not wrong, only singaporeans and Singapore PR can ballot. you don't have to pay for the rental yet.
3. wait for their call. if you get it they will ring you up. in the past they told be that I will know the result on xxx days but I didn't get the call. but a week or two later, they called to say I've won a stall and gave me the stall number
so do expect some delay. you are suppose to go back tanglin mall customer service counter to pay your rental. is $85 as of now. the price is getting more and more expensive. probably because they can guarantee the crowd. I've been to afew flea markets and the earning is negative. only tanglin is the best so far.
4. just wait for the actual day! u can start your stall from 3pm till 11pm.

Capsule Madness

Capsules. we all used to put $1-$5 to get capsules yet we may not get something that we want. NOW, at the Robinsons Expo sales, all we need to do is

1. grab a bag from the cashier (about A4 size)

2. fill up your bag with capsules (u can also choose ur capsules)

3. pay $10! thats all!

The capsules come in big and small sizes. Here's 30 of them. just nice to fit the A4 bag. Do not try to overflow the bag as the cashier will just throw out the capsules! leave some space for the cashier the tape the bag. Anyways, $10 for 30 is a big bargain! 30cents each! look at some of my items below:

 One piece character.. short of the blue and green one to get a set.

 Dragon ball's

 MOS burgers minitures!! managed to get a full set for this collection. biggest catch for the day!

Another MOS burger collection but i only have 2. too lazy to find. 

 space invaders magnets (4pcs)

 I have 3 hello kitty keychains. oh ya! while choosing, watch out for the rust. 2 out of 30's keychain turned rusty. gotta wash it. this kitty is one of them.

 Pikachu! there's many pokemons, insects,dogs and power rangers.

 Nightmare after christmas.. many of these too. they belong to the big capsules.

 disney balloons! this is a stitch hand which i pumped air in. there's a handle at the back so as to grab the balloon. belongs to big capsules too. very worth it for only 30cts

 this is also the disney balloon. it comes in a set. at the back says "I Love You"

The robinsons expo sales is now on till 2 oct 2011! hall4, 10.30am - 10pm.

They do sell clothes from fcuk, fox, giodano, g2000, island shop, new urban male, blah blah. Many varieties and brands there. the last expo sales has Espirit too.

Gmarket SG

Gmarket SG, i'm their regular! I do buy from Gmarket KR too. Shopping experience, so far so good. I find it sinful to visit this site. Why? cos i spend a lot in here! there's many varieties of things u can buy. but beware! there are fake products too.

They would ask for feedback and have i received the item. G-stamps are also awarded upon writing a review. What to do with G-stamps? it can let u buy coupons so that you can use it to buy regular priced items.

you may also bid for items at market Auction.

So some of u may wonder if the items are of good quality etc. sorry but these depends on the seller. so do read the reviews and Q&A that buyers posted.
